I was here once and I really liked it. Very good hotel. I can only recommend it!

Good restaurant with a nice menu and friendly staff.

Nice ambience both in the hotel and in the beautiful idyllic garden. Good food, fresh salads, beautiful, varied menu. On hot days, you can sit under large parasols in the cozy, shady garden. Staff very friendly. Prices appropriate for good food.

We were only here to eat. That was the finest.

A very nice Hotel with friendly staff and good service. The Wifi in the new rooms is not great, signal is very weak but the room is clean, comfortable and a nice size.

Top dishes at reasonable prices. Rather upscale cuisine and prices! Gladly again!

We have been here several times for dinner. Service was always friendly and courteous. Food always excellent and in a very good quality. The decor is absolutely coherent for this environment. The beer garden is very quiet and cozy with a nice view of the monastery garden. Even in winter it is very cozy in the parlors. The boss has a knack for decoration :-). We look forward to the next visit.

Delicious food, rooms typically rather small.

The food is excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and competent. Only four stars because the toilets are too small. For women, two measly toilets is simply not enough. There is still room for improvement here.

A very good economic option in the near Salzburg area. The rooms are spartan and suffers a bit from poor sound isolation, but the beds are comfortable and the restaurant and breakfast are superb!

We were on the go and hungry. My wife and I went away enthusiastically from the very good service and the equally good cuisine. A really big compliment. We will stop here every time we drive through and let us pamper you, Thank you!

The cleanest hotel I have ever been

Actually a very nice hotel or restaurant. But since it is not one of the really inexpensive restaurants, I find the chairs and tables in the monastery garden to be terribly uncomfortable and not nice, they are more for a rustic beer garden. The cutlery is also on the table in a beer mug. Here the atmosphere should change fundamentally.

Nice place near the German Austrian border. The hotel itslef is an interesting juxtapose of old classic and somewhat art-deco buldings. The older building hallways have a sweet fragrance waffling and permeating the atmosphere. A very pleasant experience to walk around in. The newer building, where I stayed, has 6 m height rooms which feels partly surreal. The glassed balcony is interesting. The restaurant is great for dinner and beer was to my liking :). Only suggestion I have is for the breakfast to have more warm/hot food options. Next time I am the area I will certainly visit again.

The hotel is a former monastery with a large garden full of herbs. It's very cozy, clean and in the center of Laufen, not far from the bridge to Austria, Salzburg. The rooms are quiet. The wifi reception is very good everywhere. The restaurant offers regional cuisine with healthy ingredients, delicious and tasty. I think the prices are reasonable. I look forward to my next visit to the Kapuzinerhof.

Great food!

This place is charming and their service is impeccable. Menus are offered in German and English and I must admit that this was by far the best meal I have ever had in my life. I would fly back to Laufen just to have this meal one more time. I strongly encourage everyone to get reservations without delay and be ready for a meal that is clearly prepared with passion and precision. A second home. Very friendly, a historic feel to the place, good cuisine. Excellent starting point for tours. Good access with public transport from Salzburg.
